VIPs

VIPs are individuals within the organization who hold strategic, public, or high-risk roles and therefore require targeted monitoring across external digital environments. These profiles are typically associated with executives, spokespersons, board members, or key personnel whose names, identities, or credentials could be exploited in impersonation, fraud, or reputational attacks.

In the Inopli DRP module, VIPs can be configured directly by the user in the company’s DRP settings panel under the VIPs tab of the Monitoring Profile section. Each registered VIP becomes a reference point for correlation across deep/dark web, social networks, forums, and other external data sources.

Once a VIP is configured and marked as active, the DRP system continuously searches for signals that may involve or target the person, including mentions, leaks, fake profiles, and social engineering indicators. Confirmed threats tied to a VIP will trigger the escalation workflow through the Response module, creating incidents for operational response if marked as true positive.

Each VIP entry consists of the following fields:

  • full_name – The individual’s full name as it appears in official or public records

  • risk_level – Optional classification of risk exposure (e.g., High, Medium, Low)
