Automations
The Automations feature of the Inopli RPA module is where incident response and operational workflows are transformed into structured, repeatable, and fully automated processes. At its core, this feature allows organizations to create and manage an unlimited number of playbooks, each representing a complete automation flow tailored to a specific detection, incident, or business requirement.
Key Capabilities
Visual Workflow Builder Analysts can build complex routines using a graphical no-code editor, enabling them to model processes without needing to write or modify code. Each playbook is structured as a visual canvas of connected actions and decision nodes, supporting conditional logic, parallel execution, retries, and customized transitions between stages.
Ready-to-Use and Customizable Templates The system includes preconfigured playbook templates designed to address common security operations tasks. These templates can be adapted or new ones created from scratch, supporting use cases ranging from incident triage and escalation to enforcement and documentation workflows.
Integrated Execution Logic Playbooks can react automatically to detection events, specific triggers, or scheduled intervals. Automated actions can include asset isolation, enrichment queries, ticket generation, policy application, or communication with third-party platforms, all performed without human intervention unless configured otherwise.
Form-Based Configuration For each automation, users can define custom forms to guide execution and input collection, allowing context-specific controls and structured decision-making criteria, all managed directly through the interface.
Monitoring and Reporting
Operational Dashboards Real-time dashboards offer a centralized view of automation performance. Analysts can track executions, error states, timings, and the outcome of each step, ensuring transparency and operational oversight.
Scheduled Reporting The module supports automatic and scheduled delivery of executive and operational reports, configured per playbook, user group, or organizational unit. Reports are available in various formats and include graphical insights on workflow activity, effectiveness, and exceptions.
Process Control and Auditing
Standardization and Oversight Playbooks can embed approval steps, checkpoints, and branching logic aligned with internal governance and response protocols. Each automation step is fully auditable, supporting compliance and post-incident reviews.
Built-in Validation Mechanisms Automation flows can incorporate status verification routines, cross-system checks, and correlation conditions to ensure that each action aligns with security and business requirements.
